Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actress best known as Missandei in HBO's huge Fantasy "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea, a seaside resort town located in Essex, Emmanuel was drawn to acting from a young age. Nathalie began to take singing, acting, and dancing lessons around 3 years of age. Her parents were amazed. Emmanuel was an accomplished performer who developed rapidly. At the close of the 90s she played an infant Nala in "The The Lion King" a West End musical which has received acclaim. Emmanuel was a candidate for roles in TV and film when she was a teenager. The actress got her first major breakthrough in 2007, when she became Sasha Valentine on the British soap-opera "Hollyoaks" (Channel 4 from 1995 to ). Emmanuel took on the role for four seasons, before leaving the show in 2010. Emmanuel got her next break just three years later, when she was cast as Missandei on HBO's Game of Thrones. She was the Daenerys' interpreter (played by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel played in all seasons of "Game of Thrones", all the way until the May 2019 season final episode.
